Note to an HHRI Investigator

After writing about how corrupt researchers were pressuring WBAI Radio to censor Gary Null, I noticed that one of the signatories was Columbia Professor Steven A. Siegelbaum, PhD. As a Howard Hughes Medical Investigator, Siegelbaum is eminently qualified to examine what my investigations have uncovered. As career investigators, Professor Siegelbaum and I should be capable of discussing evidence in a rational manner.

I wrote this note to him today. I’m not sure he’ll reply:

Greetings:

I am a
licensed private investigator and retired member of the Los Angeles Police Department. I have conducted thousands of criminal and civil investigations since 1980 and have repeatedly qualified in court as a narcotics expert.

Last year, the physicians of
Semmelweis Society International appointed me to investigate the conflict between scientists and physicians who believe that HIV causes AIDS and those who do not. During that time, I have repeatedly requested evidence; specifically who, when, where, and how it was proven that HIV attacks cells and causes AIDS. In return, I have received dozens of papers that ASSUME HIV attacks cells and causes AIDS but nothing that illustrates exactly how it was proven.

In fact, none of Gallo's original reports (
1, 2, 3, 4) are conclusive and all subsequent reports I have reviewed only ASSUME that Gallo’s assumptions were correct. This conduct is contrary to the principles of any investigation – whether a burglary, purse snatch, or virology. As a Howard Hughes Investigator, you will appreciate my concern.

I noticed that your alleged signature was in
this email to WBAI radio regarding their decision to host Gary Null’s show. In your letter, you write:

… you know that there is overwhelming scientific evidence that a retrovirus known as HIV exists, is transmitted by bodily fluids, and destroys the immune system of infected people, leaving them vulnerable to opportunistic infections. Without antiretroviral treatment, advanced HIV disease (AIDS) almost invariably results in death.

I have found hundreds of research documents that ASSUME HIV attacks cells and causes AIDS, but nothing that demonstrates exactly how it was determined, where, when, and by whom.
Not only have I not found this evidence, but I recently confirmed with scientists that the HIV drug Sustiva is not only highly addictive, but that withdrawal from the drug suppresses T-Cells and elevates “viral loads” in the same way that AIDS is diagnosed. I have found no literature that helps clinicians differentiate between the objective symptoms of Sustiva (or SSRI) withdrawal and the onset of AIDS.

Not only that, but it appears that the author of the book
Dissecting a Discovery is not the investigator that Gallo claimed he is, but is actually a part-time security guard and filter salesman. Nick Kontaratos is not a 20-year police veteran but only acquire nine months of training before complaining of a knee injury and retiring. Indeed, it is unlikely that Kontaratos is even qualified to take the private investigator test.

In an expression of what we call consciousness of guilt, Gallo and the FDA removed links to the book and
Sustiva from the Internet without comment. Lucky for me that I saved them. I also read Gallo’s book – don’t waste your time.

As a psychiatrist and investigator, you will surely appreciate my concerns. As a career investigator, I would have to suffer from extreme denial if I did not notice Gallo’s deliberate avoidance of real investigators to find Kontaratos. If Gallo had nothing to hide, surely his assets would have afforded him the pick of any top-quality investigative agency. Not only that, but Barbara Culliton of Nature, Science, and other publications signed her name, like yours was
signed, indicating her appreciation for the works of Gallo and his filter salesman. Three other IHV scientists
signed glowing reviews of Gallo’s book as well.

So you see, Dr. Siegelbaum, I am left with significant confusion about you. Have you ever seen papers that show exactly how HIV was proven to attack cells and cause AIDS or are you also simply supporting the assumptions of others? If you didn’t sign this email or read the letter to which your name was affixed, please indicate that so I will not have to include you as a witness in pending litigation.

As you review the previous statements, I also invite you to examine
my other reports. Based upon what I have found so far, Gallo, Montagnier, John Moore, Jeff DeShong and the other pro-Gallo supporters more closely resemble Pope Urban’s official astronomers than real scientists like Galileo, who would undoubtedly be called a denialist for not believing 300 years of astronomical consensus. In many ways, it appears that the real denialists are those who now support Robert Gallo’s unproven theology. Your name is listed among them.

Before you start to pressure radio stations about your opinions about HIV and AIDS, it might be wise to produce the evidence I seek. Otherwise, you will appear as inert as John Moore, Jeff DeShong, Nick Bennett, Nick Kontaratos, and assorted investigative
charlatans.

I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Clark Baker CPI
