LAPD Chief Back Misrepresents Facts for Obama

LAPD Charlie Beck claims that Arizona’s law will cause crime to go up. He bases this on the unproven theory that illegal immigrants are less likely to report crime if they’re afraid that police officers will arrest them.

From my time as an LAPD officer, however, the opposite is true.

For many years, the LAPD’s Special Order 40 provided for the same protections as those demanded by Arizona’s critics. BUT instead of protecting the illegal alien crime victims, the order protected the gangsters who targeted other illegal aliens. As a result, the Order often resulted in the return of gangsters to the Latino neighborhoods they targeted, which chilled crime reporting much more than uniformed police officers ever did.

Chief Beck’s argument also assumes that the police officers he hires are too unprofessional and undisciplined to be trusted to differentiate between law-abiding migrants and criminal gangsters. He knows better but perpetuates the myth to appease the corrupt politicians he works for.

It was partially the politically-motivated misrepresentations of fact thaty contributed to my decision to retire from the LAPD in 2000. How very sad for the Latino community and the officers who serve them.

Pharma, Soros Threatens Whistleblowers in DC

Next week, the Government Accountability Project (GAP) will host the 2010 Whistleblower Assembly in Washington DC . According to their latest release, the event is co-sponsored by Semmelweis Society International (SSI) – this despite receiving proof that their alleged connection to SSI is a pharmaceutically-funded fraud.

James Murtagh MD is not the first fraud GAP has knowingly promoted, which is why SSI has distanced itself from GAP and its cohorts since 2008.

During their 2008 events, GAP promoted Adam Kokesh as a whistleblower who claimed to have endured retaliation from the Bush Administration. Although GAP knew that the Marine Corps had discharged Kokesh for protesting in uniform after being demoted for numerous UCMJ violations (including illegal weapons charges), GAP Director Tom Devine promoted Kokesh as an anti-war protestor for donors like George Soros at the expense of real champions like Jeffrey Wigand, Marsha Coleman Adebayo, medical professionals (SSI) and supporters like US Senator Charles Grassley.

Along with doctors who killed and assaulted patients or molested children, the pharmaceutical industry recruited Murtagh’s motley crew to pervert the name of Ignaz Semmelweis. For an industry that has paid more than $7 billion in criminal and civil fines since 2004, laundering a few million through Soros and TAC to screw with "disgruntled employees" is nothing more than Grisham's Law of corruption replacing honesty.

This week, SSI received this message from one of many confused physician:

“I understand there is a meeting coming up in the DC area. I'd like to attend, but I don't see anything on the website about it.”

In response, I issued this response:

Hi Barbara:

I received your message and understand your confusion.

First of all, SSI’s annual report and website establishes that these confederates are not members or officers of our organization. SSI’s official meeting is being planned for July or August 2010. We will post information about that meeting on our website when we have firm dates.

The meeting next week was coordinated by James Murtagh MD and members of the Government Accountability Project (GAP). If you have paid membership dues or any other fees to them, you may be a victim of fraud.

GAP

Like the Free Press and other pro-Marxist organizations, GAP is funded by George Soros in what appears to be an effort by Soros to control and suppress whistleblowers under the pretext of supporting them. While GAP may benefit some whistleblowers, Soros’ record is well documented. GAP appears to attract and exploit bona fide whistleblowers in an effort to give credibility to its efforts to suppress them.

TAC-Semmelweis

According to James Murtagh, his confederate SSI organization is funded and controlled by the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC). TAC is a South African pharmaceutical front group whose funding comes indirectly from the pharmaceutical industry and pro-Marxist groups. The linkages are posted here:

• Critpath is Philadelphia Fight, which is also funded by pharma. The Critpath listserve disseminates pro-pharma propaganda (FAPP) to AIDS activists throughout the US. Those activists then attack pharma’s critics


• FAPP’s co-chairs are all pharma-funded (Smith AED, Kawata NMAC, Davids CHAMP)


• At least one CHAMP Director is a self-described anti-capitalist revolutionary (e.g. Marxist)


• Consider also that the pharmaceutical industry has paid more than $7 billion in criminal and civil penalties since 2004.

Murtagh has incorporated numerous failed organizations (including IAW) and nothing prevents him or his cohorts from incorporating another Semmelweis organization in another state. But Murtagh/TAC attacks SSI specifically to overtake and control our organization in an effort to destroy it and exploit its membership much as GAP appears to be doing for Soros.

Consider also what TAG’s Richard Jefferys (Murtagh’s co-defendant) wrote in 2008 a few weeks before Murtagh left SSI for TAC:

I think the simplest talking points are that Farber and Duesberg aren't whistleblowers, they're liars. The examples are many… However, it's probably too late to affect things tomorrow, the better strategy may just to be to target each of the co-sponsoring organizations & endorsers afterward in order to ensure that Semmelweis is disinvited from next year's event. Reporter Diana Scholl picked up the story on Critpath and posted this story on several pharmaceutical propaganda websites:

“D.C. Fights Back member and Whitman-Walker client Mark Fischer (TAG/Critpath/pharma) says the only time he got an opportunistic infection was when he stopped taking his meds. "These aren't whistleblowers. They're divergent thinkers who are 21st century snake oil salesmen. And especially in D.C., where there are so many reasons why people don't get treatment, we don't need this," Fischer said.

Jefferys is thankful Duesberg and Farber didn't get near Congressional leaders. "It would have given them PR," Jefferys said. "We have no way of knowing how many people could have suffered as a result. Often those who work in the AIDS field just think of denialism is silly and that no one believes it. But a newly diagnosed person who went to a doctor who only gave him five minutes, then decided to do a web search and saw 'AIDS Myth Exposed' is who I am concerned about."

Based upon these documents, it’s clear that Murtagh’s confederates have nothing to do with SSI’S mission, website or membership. If they did, Murtagh’s group would be attacked by GAP and Jefferys as our organization continues to be.

That GAP, TAG and TAC associate with goons like Murtagh is nothing new. Shortly after assuming office in 1803, US Senator John Q. Adams complained to his father that:

“This is now in general the great art of legislation: To do a thing by assuming the appearance of preventing it… (and) …to prevent a thing by assuming that of doing it.”

To their credit, the financial and pharmaceutical industries have learned much from the tobacco industry debacle. Had Brown & Williamson controlled the media, legislators, regulators, academics, universities and whistleblower organizations as well as the pharmaceutical and financial industries do today, Jeffrey Wigand would be working minimum wage in obscurity as a disgraced tobacco-denialist. The fact that champions like Wigand and Semmelweis who risked everything are exploited to control and compromise whistleblowers is a tragedy in the making - and probably explains whyGAP has been unable to pass meaningful whistleblower protections since GAP began assisting whistleblowers in 1978.

GAP also proves James Carville’s observation - “If you drag a hundred dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you'll find.”

American Capitalism Gone with a Whimper

Last week, UMKC Professor Bill Black characterized the US Financial market as a criminogenic environment. This week, Pravda is saying what what the American media cannot admit:

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of
different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then
Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were
more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side
of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when
explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so
quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox
churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary
street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the
shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and
redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two
months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it
only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this
Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper... but a "freeman" whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

City Council Member Regina Romero asked for legal advice on whether the City of Tucson should sue the State of Arizona over SB1070. After the executive session they had a time for public comment. The veiled threats against the Comedy Central show's creators should be taken very seriously. Islamists seek to replace the rule of law with that of commanding right and forbidding wrong.

'South Park" is hilarious, right? Not any more.

Last week, Zachary Adam Chesser—a 20-year-old Muslim convert who now goes by the name Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee—posted a warning on the Web site RevolutionMuslim.com following the 200th episode of the show on Comedy Central. The episode, which trotted out many celebrities the show has previously satirized, also "featured" the Prophet Muhammad: He was heard once from within a U-Haul truck and a second time from inside a bear costume.

For this apparent blasphemy, Mr. Amrikee warned that co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone "will probably end up" like Theo van Gogh. Van Gogh, readers will remember, was the Dutch filmmaker who was brutally murdered in 2004 on the streets of Amsterdam. He was killed for producing "Submission," a film that criticized the subordinate role of women in Islam, with me.

There has been some debate about whether Mr. Stone and Mr. Parker should view the Web posting as a direct threat. Here's Mr. Amrikee's perspective: "It's not a threat, but it really is a likely outcome," he told Foxnews.com. "They're going to be basically on a list in the back of the minds of a large number of Muslims. It's just the reality." He's also published the home and office addresses of Messrs. Stone and Parker, as well as images of Van Gogh's body.

According to First Amendment experts, technically speaking this posting does not constitute a threat. And general opinion seems to be that even if this posting was intended as a threat, Mr. Amrikee and his ilk are merely fringe extremists who are disgruntled with U.S. foreign policy; their "outrage" merits little attention.

This raises the question: How much harm can an Islamist fringe group do in a free society? The answer is a lot.

Mohammed Bouyeri, a Dutch-Moroccan Muslim first thought to have been a minor character in radical circles, killed Theo van Gogh. Only during the investigation did it emerge that he was the ringleader of the Hofstad Group, a terrorist organization that was being monitored by the Dutch Secret Service.

The story was very similar in the case of the Danish cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. The cartoons, drawn by Kurt Westergaard, were published in September 2005 to little notice but exploded five months later into an international drama complete with riots and flag-burnings. The man behind this campaign of outrage was an Egyptian-born radical imam named Ahmed Abu-Laban.

Prior to this conflagration, Mr. Abu-Laban was seen as a marginal figure. Yet his campaign ended up costing Denmark businesses an estimated $170 million in the spring of 2006. And this doesn't include the cost of rebuilding destroyed property and protecting the cartoonists.

So how worried should the creators of "South Park" be about the "marginal figures" who now threaten them? Very. In essence, Mr. Amrikee's posting is an informal fatwa. Here's how it works:

There is a basic principle in Islamic scripture—unknown to most not-so-observant Muslims and most non-Muslims—called "commanding right and forbidding wrong." It obligates Muslim males to police behavior seen to be wrong and personally deal out the appropriate punishment as stated in scripture. In its mildest form, devout people give friendly advice to abstain from wrongdoing. Less mild is the practice whereby Afghan men feel empowered to beat women who are not veiled.

By publicizing the supposed sins of Messrs. Stone and Parker, Mr. Amrikee undoubtedly believes he is fulfilling his duty to command right and forbid wrong. His message is not just an opinion. It will appeal to like-minded individuals who, even though they are a minority, are a large and random enough group to carry out the divine punishment. The best illustration of this was demonstrated by the Somali man who broke into Mr. Westergaard's home in January carrying an axe and a knife.

Any Muslim, male or female, who knows about the "offense" may decide to perform the duty of killing those who insult the prophet. So what can be done to help Mr. Parker and Mr. Stone?

The first step is for them to consult with experts on how to stay safe. Even though living with protection, as I do now in Washington, D.C., curtails some of your freedom, it is better than risking the worst.

Much depends on how far the U.S. government is prepared to contribute to their protection. According to the Danish government, protecting Mr. Westergaard costs the taxpayers $3.9 million, excluding technical operating equipment. That's a tall order at a time of intense fiscal pressure.

One way of reducing the cost is to organize a solidarity campaign. The entertainment business, especially Hollywood, is one of the wealthiest and most powerful industries in the world. Following the example of Jon Stewart, who used the first segment of his April 22 show to defend "South Park," producers, actors, writers, musicians and other entertainers could lead such an effort.

Another idea is to do stories of Muhammad where his image is shown as much as possible. These stories do not have to be negative or insulting, they just need to spread the risk. The aim is to confront hypersensitive Muslims with more targets than they can possibly contend with.

Another important advantage of such a campaign is to accustom Muslims to the kind of treatment that the followers of other religions have long been used to. After the "South Park" episode in question there was no threatening response from Buddhists, Christians and Jews—to say nothing of Tom Cruise and Barbra Streisand fans—all of whom had far more reason to be offended than Muslims.

Islamists seek to replace the rule of law with that of commanding right and forbidding wrong. With over a billion and a half people calling Muhammad their moral guide, it is imperative that we examine the consequences of his guidance, starting with the notion that those who depict his image or criticize his teachings should be punished.

In "South Park," this tyrannical rule is cleverly needled when Tom Cruise asks the question: How come Muhammad is the only celebrity protected from ridicule? Now we know why.
